About termdeposit.market

A free, independent leaderboard of every Australian bank’s retail term deposit rates, rebuilt each day from the feed each bank publishes itself under the Consumer Data Right.

What it is

Under the Consumer Data Right every bank, credit union and building society licensed in Australia must publish its retail products and rates as an open, machine-readable feed. Once a day we read the whole register — 116 brands on 10 Oct 2026 — record every retail term deposit tier we find, and rebuild this site from what was read. Nothing is typed in by hand and no rate is ever estimated: a bank we could not read is listed as not read.

The site is non-commercial. There are no affiliate links, no paid placement, no advertising and no accounts. Bank names link to the banks’ own websites and to their profile pages here; we receive nothing when you open an account.

It is not financial advice. It shows what each bank publishes and where that sits in the market; whether a term deposit suits you depends on your circumstances. Read the product disclosure statement and confirm the rate with the bank before you commit.

Who publishes it

termdeposit.market is published by Nutshell Media Pty Ltd, an Australian company. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or paid by any bank, credit union or building society, and no institution can pay to appear, to rank higher or to be left out.

The site is general information only and is not financial advice. It does not take your objectives, financial situation or needs into account, and nothing on it is a recommendation to open, keep or close any account. Read the product disclosure statement, confirm the rate with the bank, and consider advice from a licensed financial adviser before you decide.

Please note: the savings figures on this page are estimates only and may not reflect the return you actually receive. Actual returns vary with tax, fees, the interest payment frequency and any change the bank makes to a rate before you open the account. Rates are the bank’s own published Consumer Data Right figures and may differ for particular balance tiers or online-only products. Always read the product disclosure statement, confirm the rate with the bank, and consider your own circumstances. Nothing here is financial advice or a recommendation. This site is published by Nutshell Media Pty Ltd, which is not affiliated with any bank, credit union or building society.
